Felipe Pathé Duarte

Felipe Pathé Duarte is a Researcher and Professor at Nova School of Law, in Lisbon, where he coordinates the Master’s Degree in Law and Security. He is also a Professor at the Instituto de Ciências Policiais e Segurança Interna. He is a consultant at Visionware, Sistemas de Informação, SA, in the areas of geopolitics and risk analysis. He is a resident analyst of international political affairs at RTP. He holds a PhD and a Master’s in Political Science and International Relations from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and a degree in Philosophy from Universidade de Coimbra. He has been a visiting fellow at the University of Oxford and at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington DC. He was a Fulbright Fellow in the US National Security Policymaking program. He is also a visiting professor at Instituto Universitário Militar and at the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL). He was a consultant to the United Nations Agency on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) for combating violent-extremism in Moçambique.
